Pre-university training

The curriculum for the preparation of persons for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus is an educational program aimed at studying academic subjects necessary for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

  • preparatory courses (evening preparatory courses, short-term preparation courses for centralized testing, short-term preparation courses for university entrance tests)
  • preparatory department

The main goal is to provide high–quality training for students to successfully pass entrance examinations to the educational institution “Brest State University named after A.S.Pushkin” and other institutions of higher education of the Republic of Belarus.

EVENING PREPARATORY COURSESЕ

Acceptance of applications: September

Training period: 8 months (from October to May)

The cost of tuition for an academic year in one subject is 250 BYN

Students of evening preparatory courses are engaged in subjects of centralized testing

Students are given the opportunity to choose the number of subjects

The number of  students in the group is up to 12 people

Classes are held in the evening (2 hours per week for each subject)

 TRAINING COURSES FOR CENTRALIZED TESTING

Study period: from February to April

The students of the preparatory courses are engaged in the subjects of centralized testing

The 18-hour course (three Saturdays or Sundays for one subject) includes:

  • consultation on the content of testing, the procedure for conducting it and evaluating the results;
  • analysis of test materials from previous years;
  • conducting a training test.
The number of students in the group is up to 12 people.

Applications of the established sample and payment receipts are accepted from January of the current academic year

Courses in the relevant subject are conducted as groups are completed

INDIVIDUAL CLASSES IN SUBJECTS OF CENTRALIZED EXAMINATION, CENTRALIZED TESTING

The cost of 1 individual lesson is 34.00 BYN

PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT

(persons with secondary education, vocational education or specialized secondary education are accepted)

Students of the preparatory department study the subjects necessary for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with their chosen education profile

Acceptance of documents: from August to September

Form of study: full-time

Period of education: from October to May

Required documents:

  • application for admission to study;
  • originals of the document on education and its appendices;
  • centralized testing certificates;
  • medical certificate of health status in the form;
  • 6 photos 3×4 cm.

Enrollment is based on the results of the average grade of the certificate

In order to implement the educational program for preparing people for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus for the 2023-2024 academic year, in accordance with Resolution No. 980 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated July 21, 2011, control figures for admission to the preparatory department at the expense of the republican budget were approved — 5 people.

SHORT-TERM UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST PREPARATION COURSES

Training period: from July 12 to 17

The training is conducted on the subjects of entrance examinations to the Educational Institution “Brest State A.S. Pushkin University”

PREPARATORY COURSE FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS

The pre-university training program is aimed at preparing applicants for admission to the university

The period of education is 10 months

Those who have successfully completed the course of study and passed the final exams are issued a certificate of completion of the preparatory course.

  • application for admission to study with an indication of the specialty;
  • certificate (document) of education indicating the subjects studied and the marks (points) obtained on them in the exams;
  • a medical report on the state of health confirming the possibility of studying in the climatic conditions of the republic and in relevant educational institutions and scientific organizations, issued by the official healthcare authority of the country from which the candidate came to study;
  • certificate of absence of HIV infection issued by the official health authority of the country of arrival of the candidate for study;
  • a copy of the birth certificate, certified in accordance with the established procedure;
  • 6 photos sized 4×6 cm.

The listed documents in a foreign language are simultaneously provided with their translation into Russian, certified by a notary.

Submission of documents for an invitation: from July to August Tuition fee for foreign citizens: 1,600 US dollars

COURSES "RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE"

The period of education: from 1 to 10 months (on demand of the student).   

Upon completion of the training, students are given a certificate of completion of the courses.

At the request of the listener, a place to stay in a hostel is provided.
